Sunward Resources Inc (SWD-T)
Sunward Resources was a capital pool company known as MKM Resources led by CEO Jay Sujir prior to announcing in November 2009 plans to acquire Sunward Investments Ltd, a British Virgin Islands-based company, as its qualifying transaction. Sunward Investments had options to acquire two gold-copper porphyry projects in Colombia, one with a 3.5 million gold ounce inferred resource and the other optioned 70% to Rio Tinto. Upon completion of the transaction the company changed its name to Sunward Resources when it resumed trading on the TSXV on March 9, 2010, and is now led by CEO Philip O'Neil. While the company has since sold its La Muriel project, its Titribi project yielded a September 2011 resource estimate of 6.2 million gold ounces and 1.07 billion copper pounds in the measured and indicated categories. While the deposit is low-grade,drilling is continuing and the company believes it can both continue to expand the resource and identify higher-grade zones that should boost the overall resource grade. |
Key to Understanding IPV Charts and Spec Value Hunter Tables
An IPV Chart is a graphical presentation of a Spec Value Hunter table that has been constructed according to the Rational Speculation Model developed by John Kaiser. The IPV Chart allows speculators to identify which projects offer poor, fair or good speculative value in both absolute and relative terms. The speculative value depends on the project stage, the project's implied value as calculated by the company's fully diluted capitalization, stock price and net project interest, and the dream target deemed appropriate for the project. A dream target is what a project would be worth in discounted cash flow terms once in production. |
Green background indicates the dream target judged appropriate for this play by John Kaiser - otherwise unranked. |
Poor Speculative Value - |
Fair Speculative Value - |
Good Speculative Value - |
Note: narrow arrows indicate IPV is outside the fair value channel but within 25% of the fair value limits |
