The Yukon Resource Center is based on the KRO Yukon Index 2019 (members only) created on August 15, 2019 to feature companies with a primary project focus on the Yukon, or, if the primary focus was elsewhere, has a Yukon project that is the focus of current exploration activity whose outcome is potentially material to the company's valuation. The KRO Yukon Index 2019 was set at 1000 based on valuations as of August 15, 2019. The Yukon Resource Center is open to all visitors. A complete list of Yukon projects regardless if the company is a member of the KRO Yukon Index 2019 can be found in the unrestricted Yukon Province Profile. If you are a publicly traded resource junior and feel you qualify for the Yukon Index, please contact John Kaiser.
The Yukon Geological Survey is a branch of the Yukon government which compiles and presents geological data about the Yukon including assessment work filed by claim holders. It also publishes an annual Yukon Exploration and Geology Overview (the 2018 pdf has 88 pages and 53 MB). The YGS is currently undergoing a web site transition. The is the place to track down all publications. A useful publication is the 2018 Yukon Mineral Deposits Summary (12 MB).
The Yukon Mining Alliance is a lobby group supporting mining and exploration in the Yukon Territory. It runs an annual week-long Yukon property tour and conference for invited participants designed to highlight Yukon's mineral potential. I (John Kaiser) participated in the 2019 Tour and can testify that it is an extremely well organized, eye-opening introduction to the Yukon. The YMA has also filled its web site with virtual tours, videos and other visual aids for those unable to visit the Yukon.
